2019 Vogelzang Law Events Recap

As we look forward to enjoying the holiday season and spending much needed time with friends and family, Team Vogelzang Law wanted to commemorate 2019 with an event recap. It has been quite the busy year! We appeared at over 80 events across the country and expect to attend even more in 2020!

This year started off at the Ironworker’s Local 63 union hall where one of our attorneys, Wyatt Berkover, spoke to the attendees about our firm and the importance of regular check-ups at a doctor especially while being in occupations known to be exposed to asbestos. Later that month, members of our staff traveled to Washington D.C. and attended the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization Conference. This three-day event included academic seminars, a march to demand justice for asbestos victims, and an award ceremony for leading researchers.

Our busiest time of the year was the summer with all of the golf events! We were honored to sponsor over 20 different union-hosted golf outings throughout the Midwest. At every outing, Vogelzang Law donated an item to the raffle prizes. Vogelzang Law would also like to express gratitude to all the great people we have met at these golf outings. It truly makes it a special experience for us and it’s one of the reasons we love sponsoring the outings.

In September, we hosted our second annual Mesothelioma Race for Justice. We raised nearly $15,000, which is over double the amount compared to last year! All proceeds for the race benefitted the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, a non-profit organization that is near-and-dear to our firm and we are so grateful for the partnership. With over 100 registered sign-ups for the race, we are excited to watch the event grow each year.

Looking into next year, if you or your company are seeking sponsors or partnerships, please feel free to reach out to our office! You can contact Noah Radwanski at 312-466-1669 or nradwanski@vogelzanglaw.com. We are always looking for more ways to be involved in the community and assist organizations that support our causes. We hope everyone has a fantastic holiday season, a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!
