A strong showing at the first annual Mesothelioma Race for Justice 5K made an impact for a great cause, raising thousands of dollars for mesothelioma research through the Meso Foundation. With over 100 participants, including 75 runners and walkers, it was a fun day for family and friends to gather in support of those affected by mesothelioma.
Together, we raised over $6,300 in funds for the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation, the nation’s leading mesothelioma nonprofit. Race Director Mirela Stefanescu delivered all funds to the Meso Foundation at their International Symposium on Malignant Mesothelioma in New York City last week. These funds will support much-needed clinical trials and cutting-edge medical research that create a better future for individuals diagnosed with mesothelioma.
The Vogelzang Law team is proud to support such crucial research and grateful for each and every participant in the first annual race. We remain committed to advocating on behalf of those affected by mesothelioma and supporting organizations dedicated to finding a cure for this aggressive disease.
