Michelle T. Pawlowski joined Vogelzang Law in September 2023. Prior to joining the firm, she accumulated more than five years of experience successfully handling a diverse range of personal injury claims and consistently obtaining favorable outcomes for her clients throughout all stages of litigation.
Michelle’s extensive background encompasses both defending and prosecuting claims spanning various industries. She previously worked at a Chicago personal injury firm, representing victims of nursing home abuse and neglect. Her expertise also extends to cases involving construction accidents, construction defects, rideshare automobile and trucking accidents, slip and fall accidents, and product liability. Her work on wrongful death claims has shaped her outlook on how lawyers should serve their clients and act as a vehicle for change. Michelle now focuses on advocating for individuals and their families against manufacturers and corporations that have gambled with people’s lives and exposed them to asbestos.
Michelle earned her J.D. from the DePaul University College of Law. During her time in law school, she gained valuable insights into civil litigation through her externship with Judge Gomolinski. She served as a member of DePaul’s Appellate Moot Court Society and was chosen to represent her law school in the William E. McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court Competition. Her exceptional skills in legal writing were acknowledged with a CALI Award for Excellence in Legal Writing and Research and she went on to serve as a teaching assistant for a Legal Writing and Research course.
Michelle is family-focused and loves spending time with her daughter, husband, and golden retriever. Dedication to family guides Michelle in her legal practice, ensuring each client and case is treated with care and compassion.
