Overview & Experience

At the cutting edge

Sadie Rose is Vogelzang Law’s bankruptcy team’s supervising attorney, representing clients with asbestos-related diseases. She is integral to the bankruptcy team’s success, helping them secure an 80% success rate on paid claims and initiating arbitration proceedings. The team is at the cutting edge of claim filing and processing, all while monitoring trusts and advocating for their clients.

Sadie’s father, also an attorney, was a formative influence when she was young, showing her the good work attorneys can do. As a child, she was interested in learning all she could about the Civil Rights Movement and felt called to a career where she could help others.

After receiving her B.A. in International Studies and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Sadie Rose graduated cum laude from Chicago-Kent College of Law with a certificate in Environmental and Energy Law.

At Chicago-Kent, Sadie was an editor for the Chicago-Kent Journal of Intellectual Property and participated in the Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Moot Court competition. She gained experience as a law clerk at the U.S. EPA Office of Regional Counsel, Environmental Law & Policy Center, and Chicago Environmental Law Clinic. She was also awarded the CALI Award for the highest grade in International Law.
