Wyatt Berkover began his career with Nick and the Vogelzang Law team as a law clerk, becoming an associate in the fall of 2016. His law practice focuses on representing victims of personal injury and wrongful death. He believes his duty as a lawyer is to serve his client from the initial meeting to trial and beyond. Wyatt prides himself on cultivating strong relationships with his clients and guiding them through their cases.
Wyatt focuses on representing victims of mesothelioma, asbestosis, and other asbestos-related diseases, and he has helped countless families achieve justice in their darkest hours. He was an integral part of the Vogelzang trial team that recently obtained a multi-million-dollar jury verdict in Cook County on behalf of the O’Reilly family.
Wyatt received his B.A. in political science from the University of Illinois at Chicago and then graduated cum laude with his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. While attending law school, Wyatt served as the Chicago-Kent Student Bar Association representative and the Chicago-Kent student representative to the Illinois State Bar Association.
Wyatt grew up watching legal classics like “Erin Brokovich” and “A Civil Action.” These films influenced his future, showing him how he could make a difference in the world by fighting for the injured against the powerful.
Wyatt enjoys spending time with his wife, young son, and their dog outside the office.
